Each day at St Yared I am greated by 88 beautiful smiling faces and almost as many hugs and cheek kisses. A yard full of laughter and big dreams.
My favorite part of the day is visiting the kids homes after school and learning their stories. The family I visited this afternoon live in the kitchen of an uncles tiny home and have an income of less than $1 per week.
These kids are my hero's, to come to school each day full of laughter and love, to study and learn as well as they do, to return home to cook or clean, to work or teach their families, shows so much about their beautiful characters.
